The money from P2P is going to make the game much better, and we'll be able to support more [things]. The only dusadvantage of not getting in to the lava mountain is you can't mine lava ore yourself - however, the Queville community is very nice, and I'm sure there would be any number of people who would make you some, if you can reach the requirements. :-)

i'm pretty sure you can mine it on Darkness Island?? O.o

It has lava areas, but you can't mine lava ore.

No, you can't mine Lava Ore in the Land of Darkness ... but there is lava there and you can fight demons. It can be found by taking a Boat West from Butler.

Mining Lava is the one thing in-game that a free player can't do. Other games have entire classes of weapons and armors that free players can't use.

It is just nonsense for free players to expect to have all the privileges that paying members have; it defies common sense.

thanks QuaCzar for trying to make all us malcontents happy. I do believe you are making an effort to make content for f2p as well as p2p but i personally have been working up to lava ore since i started playing this game,i've spent countless hours grinding mining and smithing in hopes that i can wear a lava set mined and smithed by myself, in fact mining is my highest leveled stat, i would not have leveled it past being able to mine coal if i knew joe would nerf mining for f2p(i know i could probably get ore off someone else but it just wouldn't be the same...). if you want to make p2p more beneficial then why not release another tier of equipment and ore after lava for them to use or some other content that you didn't just jack from f2p? also i know 4 dollars isn't a lot but with all due respect joe really hasn't made anything worth paying for, i mean lava mountains WAS free so it really took no effort on his part to turn it into p2p so in reality people are paying 4 dollars a month for the same thing they could do for free a couple months ago. you really haven't designed anything solely for the purpose of making p2p worth the money. also, people will donate regardless of whether or not you add content, look at all the people with those hats that donated just because they love queville regardless of what they get out of it. but to be honest i dont play this game enough to bother paying monthly for it and if im going to pay monthly for a game there are hundreds of games with a much higher value that i would pay for before this. for just a few times the price of your membership i could play a game with a few thousand times the member content. at this point you fail to make it worthwhile.

The Lava Mountain always WAS and HAS BEEN P2P area, the only issue was Joe couldn't get Pay-Pal to work, go ask him. It was planned to be P2P from the start of it's existence. It was never meant for free players until they ran into the issue Pay-Pal wasn't working. Go look at the Update Notes...it was planned to be P2P, and I'm sure now with all the P2P'rs there will be more extensions. Joe has a Badlands extension coming up which is for F2P and P2P and the only thing you can do in the Lava Mountain that you can't do elsewhere is mine Lava, which is the highest ore, an the most prestigious armor. No need to make a whole new class just for P2P that would set the game into an unbalance where P2P would go from pay to play, to Pay For Power. No one wants that.
