i mean lava mountains WAS free so it really took no effort on his part to turn it into p2p so in reality people are paying 4 dollars a month for the same thing they could do for free a couple months ago. you really haven't designed anything solely for the purpose of making p2p worth the money.
I don't consider this part of Queville worth paying for, and this other part of Queville not worth paying for. I set the price based on what I felt the game as a whole was worth.
And I can assure you that no matter how much hard work you have put into mining, I have more hard work logged on the creation of this game ... to suggest it took me "no effort" is insulting. I couldn't even estimate how many hours I've got into this, if I got experience for programming I'd be the #1 player on those high scores.
You should be thanking me for letting you play at all, I don't owe you a **** thing so to come here and suggest I owe you the ability to play my game is pure nonsense.
And KJ is correct - the Lava Mountain was always slated to be P2P and I posted so on the DevTeam forum. You should consider the "free trial" period over.
KJ obv did his homework on this one, and Joe you're right! It's rude to say it was easy creating this game because it's not easy creating a game, and we're lucky Joe is letting us play! And I believe the game is worth more than 3.95(; but that's a personal opinion :P But with the support of P2P hopefully there will be more things to come for both free and paying players! Like Joe said in another post, the Ads never paid for the site, and he had to dig in his own pocket to balance it out. And now with a lot of us paying to play, that should ease his pocket money and allow him to further develop the game into an awesome experience for free and paying players. :P
