Queville is the name of a role-playing game I (Joe) originally wrote on a Commodore VIC-20. Because of the limitations of the hardware, everything was based on mathematical formulas, and not databases.

Queville Online is based on the work of "Fordana" and my original "Map Walker" scripts.

Graphics come from a variety of sources:

Many of the enemies come from old school public domain Nethack/Rouge "RLTiles".

Most of the buildings are from Reiner's Tileset. Reiner has a variety of 2d and 3d artwork available and is awesome. I would offer Reiner a paying position at Queville to draw for us, but his FAQ says he is not accepting any new projects.

Other graphics, such as the ground tiles and characters, were drawn by me (Joe again). I use Photofiltre mostly, as it has a smaller "footprint" than programs like Gimp and has an old-school PSP (that's Paint Shop Pro) feel to it.

Many thanks to Google: for their invaluable search abilities, listings in that search, and sponsoring Queville financially over the many years.

-Joe
