Starting with the match.pl routine, which because matches have estamps also lights the match you click. I have opt'ed to do away with the "stack" option as I don't like the server load of determining which match has the lowest expire stamp. I think we will have to do away with the auto-lighting of a match when cooking for the same reason, players will just have to light their own fires now.

Yeah, we could handle fluids that mix and average their stamps, somehow, but multiple solids most likely need to be separate. There could be exceptions; if we bunch something like apples, the stamp could be the earliest one to expire, since a rotten apple spoils the bunch. This might be a good simple general rule for things considered perishable, even liquids. It also allows strategic choice between more free slots or longer-lasting items.

Okay - the bad news: the power supply fan on my only working computer (a slim model emachine) started making funny noises, ugh.

The good news: a friend brought me an old computer someone was throwing away and I was able to repair it and install Windows.

The best news: it is faster and more powerful than that emachine! The emachine was one of those "slim" computers that was hard to work on and not easy to upgrade. It was slow and had lots of lag doing anything.

I still have to install all my software on this new box, and I plan to move it into another room along with the cable modem, but overall I should be able to get back to work on 'dragon' soon. I'm hoping it is powerful enough that I'll be able to listen to music while programming again, that'll motivate me to get more done. :)

I really want to have a playable game by the end of summer.

Music while coding is awesome! That is, as long as it doesn't distract me from what I'm doing, and I start dancing... :p

I've had a lot of inspirations while coding with music.
