Ok, maybe I have no brain because I don't understand how this new thing will work. Is it a game like Queville? Will we have skills to level? Will we keep our characters from Queville? Will we have to start over? Will we have to download stuff or will it be like Que where you just go to the website and log in? If we have to start over, will you continue to keep Queville up and running?

Things that fail to kill me, make me level up!

Here are my answers:

Q. Is it a game like Queville?
A. Not exactly. It's used to make games. Queville will be one. Other games are also planned.

Q. Will we have skills to level?
A. For some games, yes. For others, no.

Q. Will we keep our characters from Queville?
A. Queville will keep Queville characters. Other servers may or may not share characters, but they probably won't transfer skills, items, etc.

Q. Will we have to start over?
A. Queville characters won't need to start over, and new games would just start, so we wouldn't call it starting over.

Q. Will we have to download stuff or will it be like Que where you just go to the website and log in?
A. If you just want to play, it will be like Queville, where you play in the browser. If you want your own server, you will need to download the installer and build upon it.

Q. If we have to start over, will you continue to keep Queville up and running?
A. Queville will be converted to use the new engine, and developed from there. It may be updated some before that, but most of the new content will be included after the conversion, since it will be much more efficient that way.

So Queville will also look like Dragon basher too??? Like the way it works? Farming and skills, and also the way the screen changes was Dragon Basher?

Originally Dragon Basher was planned to be the name of a game based on Queville. We decided it would be good to develop the games together, using the same engine, so Queville v11.0 would be the same thing as the first released version of Dragon Basher. Each would be a customized version of the same basic game with different content, and perhaps different highscores. The shared engine was then called the Dragon Basher engine. It was redesigned from the ground up, becoming more extendable and customizable, making it able to support many different map-walking games, rather than just RPGs similar to Queville. What we are releasing is the Dragon Basher engine, as a demo server that generates a random map.

Yes, Queville will eventually have the fuller screen and scrolling as in the demo, and the Dragon Basher engine will support skills, quests and other things in Queville. We'll probably release other games, first, though.

The 'dragon' demo server will be released on dragonbasher.com and will not affect queville.com in any way shape or form. I will get it online as soon as I complete my taxes.

I do not know what the future holds, we will have to wait and see what bridges need to be crossed together.
